Hi, I'm Elise!
When I first happened upon the quilting world, little did I know that EPP would steal my heart!
I am a first generation quilter and with nobody else in my close circle of friends and family being into quilting, it was all a guessing game at first.
I had to teach myself and as you can guess, spent endless hours googling and searching the internet for tips and tricks. The one advantage I had though was that I knew how to sew, coming from a fashion design background.
Learning EPP, experimenting and learning Adobe Illustrator got me started with writing and designing my own patterns and templates. That led to a book (Patchwork Gifts) and later, the release of my course on quilt pattern design.
Now, learning EPP took me waaaaaaaay longer than it would have, if I'd had access to a course like this, the English Paper Piecing Academy.
